Music artistes Femi Kuti, Kcee and Sean Tizzle thrilled fans with energetic performances at the grand finale of Felabration on Sunday night at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos.
The annual festival, which celebrates the life and legacy of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, featured this year’s theme, “Who Are You?” The concert ended in the early hours of Monday.
Femi Kuti entertained the audience with his signature Afrobeat sound, while Kcee and Sean Tizzle performed some of their popular songs, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans.
Some attendees praised the performances, describing the concert as an enjoyable tribute to Fela’s enduring musical influence.
Charles Amoebi said Femi Kuti’s performance reflected his father’s lasting Afrobeat legacy, while Folabi Adeoye praised Kcee for getting the audience singing and dancing.
Ayodele Badejo said Sean Tizzle’s performance brought another highlight to the evening and noted that Felabration united music lovers across generations.
The annual cultural festival features musical performances, debates, dance, art and fashion, celebrating Fela’s influence on Nigerian and international music.
