Dr Aminu Usman, also known as Abu Ammar, Commander-General of the Katsina State Hisbah Board, has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

Usman announced his resignation in a letter dated Oct. 5 and addressed to the Secretary to the State Government, Governor’s Office, State Secretariat Complex, Katsina.

He did not give any reason for his resignation but expressed gratitude to Gov. Dikko Radda for the confidence, trust, opportunity and support accorded him during his tenure.

“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the good people of Katsina State under your administration,” he said.

Usman said he remained grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the development, peace, security and moral well-being of the state.

He also appreciated Radda’s leadership and guidance throughout his service and prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and good health for the governor.

The former commander-general also prayed for continued peace, development and prosperity for Katsina State and its people.
