Internet personality, Quenlin Blackwell, is stepping into a new challenge as she prepares to run her first Nike After Dark Tour half marathon in Los Angeles.
Blackwell joined Nike’s roster of talent in August as part of a partnership that brings together sport, fashion, entertainment and internet culture.
As part of the collaboration, she is preparing for the Nike After Dark Tour: LA 13.1, a 13.1-mile women’s half marathon scheduled for October 24 in Los Angeles.
The race will take runners through Los Angeles’ South Bay area, starting and finishing at Redondo Beach King Harbor and passing through Torrance and Hermosa Beach.
Nike lists the course distance as 13.1 miles, with the event beginning at 5 p.m. local time.
For Blackwell, the challenge represents a move into a different kind of performance.
Known primarily for her work as a digital creator, she has also built a presence in fashion and entertainment.
Her Nike partnership now gives her an opportunity to bring that public persona into running while taking on the physical demands of a half marathon.
Blackwell has been documenting her preparation for the race, with Nike incorporating her into its After Dark Tour training activities.
She has also participated in Nike’s Track Nights in Los Angeles, where runners prepare for race day with Nike coaches and trainers.
Nike’s After Dark Tour is a global race series created for women, combining running with community, culture and nighttime experiences.
The 2026 series features races across seven cities, with Los Angeles hosting the half marathon stop.
As the October 24 race approaches, Blackwell’s journey has become another chapter in her growing relationship with Nike, this time trading the runway and camera for the running track as she works towards completing 13.1 miles.
