The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will hold a national stakeholders’ meeting on Tuesday in Abuja as part of activities marking 100 days to the 2027 General Elections.

INEC Chief Press Secretary, Adedayo Oketola, said the commission would provide updates on preparations for the elections, including the voters’ register, candidate nominations, logistics and measures to safeguard the electoral process.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, and other key stakeholders will address the meeting, which will bring together political party leaders, security agencies, diplomatic representatives, development partners and civil society organisations.

Other participants include election observer groups, disability rights advocates, religious and traditional leaders, youth organisations and media executives.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, will also be broadcast live on major national television networks and streamed on INEC’s official social media platforms.
