President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, representing Zamfara West, on his 58th birthday, describing him as a great grassroots mobiliser and loyal party man.
Tinubu also described Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, as an experienced administrator whose organisational capacity continues to add value to the party and the country.
This is contained in a statement issued by the President’s spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Monday in Abuja.
Yari served as Governor of Zamfara from 2011 to 2019, during which he chaired the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and provided leadership among his colleagues.
Tinubu acknowledged Yari’s role as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, leading efforts to promote the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The President commended Yari’s commitment, resilience and belief in the progressive ideals of the APC.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Yari many more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving his constituents, the party and the country.
