Shawn Mendes is marking the 10th anniversary of his second studio album, Illuminate, with a special anniversary edition released on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Originally released in September 2016, Illuminate featured some of Mendes’ best-known songs, including “Treat You Better,” “Mercy” and “Ruin.”
The 10th anniversary edition includes a previously unreleased track and three live recordings of “Treat You Better,” “Ruin” and “Mercy,” recorded in New York, Boston and Montreal.
Mendes is also releasing a limited-edition vinyl through Blood Records.
The vinyl includes a 2016 demo of “She’ll Be The One,” a song that was not included on the original album.
The anniversary release comes a decade after Illuminate became a major part of Mendes’ early career.
