‎Spanish head coach Luis de la Fuente has officially signed a six year contract extension binding him to La Roja until July 2032.

‎RFEF President Rafael Louzán announced the deal following unanimous board approval at the Las Rozas training complex in Madrid.

‎Since taking over in December 2022 following Luis Enrique’s departure, De la Fuente has led Spain to a historic treble—winning the 2023 UEFA Nations League, Euro 2024, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Spain currently boasts a 39-game unbeaten streak in official matches under his leadership, maintaining a 76% win rate (38 wins in 50 matches).

Before taking the senior team, he spent a decade in Spain’s youth system, winning the U-19 Euros, U-21 Euros, and an Olympic Silver medal in Tokyo 2020.
