In an exclusive interview with Diario AS ahead of October’s Ballon d’Or ceremony, Mbappé expressed his passion for the prestigious individual award.
He said: “I really want the Ballon d’Or to return to Real Madrid. It needs to come back to the Bernabéu, to the Madridistas, to return for all those people and give them something to be excited about. They deserve it more than anyone.”
With voting underway for the upcoming gala in London, Mbappé is determined to follow in the footsteps of club legends and bring the trophy back home to the Santiago Bernabéu.
