Manchester United fans have spoken up after a shocking loss to Brighton at Old Trafford.
Manchester United had the head start when 18-year-old Shea Lacey opened the scoring in the 8th minute, followed immediately by Mason Mount doubling the lead in the 10th minute.
On the stroke of halftime (45+1′), Charalampos Kostoulas pulled one back for the Seagulls to send the sides into the break at 2-1.
Brighton completely controlled the second half. Veteran Pascal Groß leveled the score at 2-2 in the 65th minute. Then substitute Maxim De Cuyper completed the dramatic comeback in the 70th minute—just five minutes after entering the pitch—to knock United out of the competition.
