The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, September 8.
Adeboye expressed gratitude to God for sustaining their marriage over the years in an anniversary message shared on social media.
He said their journey had been marked by “seasons of joy, challenges, growth, answered prayers and countless reasons to give God thanks.”
Adeboye said marriage was not only about beautiful moments but also about choosing one another daily, allowing room for growth, showing patience, forgiving, praying together and trusting God through different seasons.
He said they were particularly grateful that God had remained at the centre of their home and had been faithful throughout their journey.
The couple also expressed appreciation to everyone who had loved, prayed for and supported them and their family over the years.
They concluded the message by giving glory to God and expressing gratitude for their journey so far and hope for the years ahead.
