Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique says the 2026 Ballon d’Or should go to one of his players.
Speaking before PSG’s match against Monaco, the coach made it clear that his squad has done enough to earn the world’s top individual football award.
”I do not care who wins the Ballon d’Or, but in my opinion, it must be a PSG player,” Enrique told reporters. “We have everything. We have players who won the Champions League. We have Fabián, who won the World Cup. We have Ousmane, who won the Ballon d’Or last year. So for me, the winner should be from PSG.”
The 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony takes place on October 26 in London.
