The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced physical screening and documentation for successful candidates in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
Candidates are required to report only on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres, while attendance at the exercise is compulsory.
The NCS warned that failure to appear as scheduled could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the screening and documentation exercise with the original and photocopies of the following documents: National Identification Number (NIN), original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
“Candidates are expected to come with their educational certificate(s), including O’Level, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, degree or other applicable qualifications.
“In addition, candidates must present a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form and an NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
“Candidates are required to wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the exercise,” the statement said.
Upon successful completion of the physical screening and documentation exercise, shortlisted candidates will receive further instructions regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The NCS said it had put in place mechanisms to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process.
The service, under the leadership of Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adeniyi and his management team, assured candidates and the general public of a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process.
It urged candidates to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for authentic information regarding the exercise.
