Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake delivered an electrifying performance at the 19,800-capacity Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, over the weekend.
The “Mr Money” crooner performed before a large audience as part of his In God We Trust World Tour, further highlighting the growing international appeal of Nigerian Afrobeats.
Videos shared on social media showed fans singing along to his songs, while several members of the audience held up their mobile phones to capture the performance.
The concert also featured South African Amapiano DJ and producer, Uncle Waffles.
Asake’s Toronto performance is part of his ongoing North American tour, which is taking Afrobeats to major cities across Canada and the United States.
