Nigeria has lost another star to cancer as celebrated actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly called Ogogo, has passed on.
The veteran who battled stage 4 cancer died at 66, as confirmed by his daughter Kaira on Sunday.
Kaira was seen in a live video on Facebook wailing that she could not believe doctors’ declaration concerning the state of his health.
She, however, confirmed the tragic ultimate during a photo and video-sharing app, Instagram..
Also, Founder of the Best of Nollywood (BON), Seun Oloketuyi, on Sunday wrote online: “Taiwo Hassan Ogogo is dead.
“He finally lost the battle of life.”
The country has lost an unsettling number of dignitaries to cancer, including the late Professor Dora Akunyili, Alhaji Arisekola Alao and Chief Gani Fawehinmi.
