Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said Senator Francis Fadahunsi and Representative Oluwole Oke will not be re-elected in 2027 as long as he is alive.
Davido made the statement in reaction to a post by an X user following the Osun State governorship election held on August 15, 2026.
The user, @Tobilola, had written: “Fada and Wole Oke showed capacity sha. They’ll be returning to the National Assembly, I’m afraid.”
Quoting the post, Davido replied: “Not with me alive.”
Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District in the Senate, and Oke, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, played notable roles during the governorship election, which saw Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, re-elected for a second term.
Oke served as the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the election, in which Bola Oyebamiji was the party’s candidate, while Fadahunsi was prominent in social media posts opposing the Accord party.
The Osun State Police Command subsequently invited Fadahunsi over one of the videos.
