Amid controversies surrounding his abandoning the celebrity boxing match between him and actor Charles Okocha, ‘Zazoo’ singer, Portable, has announced his move to Manchester.

He is not playing for Manchester United but he is billed to perform in the UK city on August 16, 2026.

A development that shows he is still thriving in the oceans of his many controversies, Portable announced the deal in a video on Wednesday August 5, saying Manchester is his next bus stop.

He says the show will hold at Escape Lodge.

Portable has taken his signature high-energy stage presence across international borders on several notable occasions.

Following his rapid rise to fame in late 2021, he embarked on his maiden United Kingdom tour in 2022, headlining sold-out club nights and concerts across key UK cities like London (including Peckham), Birmingham, and Manchester.

Beyond the UK, Portable expanded his global reach with international tour stops across the United States, as well as multiple European cities in countries like Italy and Germany, where diaspora crowds enthusiastically embraced his uninhibited antics—which frequently feature him climbing speakers, stage scaffolding, and interacting directly with fans.

He has also performed across various African countries, including Dubai (UAE) and West African venues, cementing his reputation as a globe-trotting ambassador of Street-Hop music
