Globacom has rewarded 115 of its top-performing business partners with cash prizes, brand-new vehicles and other incentives at the 2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala held in Lagos.

The event, which took place at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, celebrated dealers whose performances between January and June 2026 contributed significantly to the company’s growth and market position.

Speaking at the event, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, Abdul Rasaq Ande, described the gala as a celebration of the strong partnership between the company and its business partners.

“Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success,” he said.

Ande said Globacom had continued to distinguish itself through technological innovation, service excellence and sustained investment in telecommunications infrastructure since commencing operations in 2003.

He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to investing in next-generation technologies and expanding its network to improve service delivery across the country.

The company also unveiled new customer-focused initiatives, including its “More Data More Value” proposition aimed at offering subscribers greater value for their spending.

Globacom highlighted several technological innovations designed to enhance customer experience, including Gloria, an AI-powered voice assistant capable of providing customer support in six languages.

The telecommunications firm also announced the expansion of its “Borrow Me Credit” service to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for subscribers with low or exhausted balances, as well as ongoing improvements to the Glo Café platform.

A major highlight of the event was the “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed Competition, which celebrated Nigeria’s cultural diversity through traditional attire.

Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited emerged winners in the male and female categories respectively, receiving cash prizes of N500,000 each.

Guests were entertained by live-band performer Segun Johnson, while comedian Gordons and television host Moet Abebe added to the excitement of the evening.

Speaking on behalf of the award recipients, Ademola Akinlabi, Managing Director of Demmy Global Resources, and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya of Lambadaya Stores, thanked Globacom for recognising outstanding dealers with vehicles, cash rewards and other incentives.

They described the gesture as a demonstration of the company’s commitment to maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships with its business partners.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment by the company to continue investing in its partners, technology and infrastructure while supporting the growth of Nigeria’s digital economy.
