Afrobeats star Davido has announced that his sixth studio album, ORIADE, will be released on July 31.

The award-winning singer made the announcement on his X account, where he unveiled the album title and confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated project.

The album comes just months after the release of 5ive in April and will further expand Davido’s catalogue, which has cemented his status as one of Africa’s biggest music stars.

According to the singer, the 13-track project marks his sixth studio album and coincides with his 15th anniversary in the music industry. The title, ORIADE, is rooted in Yoruba culture and symbolises a crowned destiny and fulfilled purpose.

Since breaking into the mainstream, Davido has released five studio albums: Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive (2026).

His critically acclaimed album Timeless earned a nomination in the Best Global Music Album category at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, while the song Feel received a nomination for Best African Music Performance.

With ORIADE, Davido is set to add another chapter to a career that has seen him remain at the forefront of Afrobeats for more than a decade.
