Nollywood star, Bolaji Amusan, aka Baba Latin, seems to be reasoning along with his colleague, Odunlade Adekola, in thinking outside the arts department as he pursues further education.
He has just earned a degree – not in Theatre Arts or any other related course – but in Peace and Conflict Resolution, the National Open University, NOUN.
Phenomenal.com.ng recalls that Odunlade had, in 2018, bagged a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Another leading artist, Saheed Osupa, who is a fuji superstar, had also opted for Political Science at the University of Ibadan, while some other entertainers have found love in Law.
Latin announced the achievement on Saturday.
“Today, I am proud to be conferred with a BSc in Peace & Conflict Resolution. Done and dusted! To God be all the glory”, he wrote.
Amusan serves as the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria.
He has been active in the Yoruba film industry for over three decades, featuring in and producing numerous movies.
