The Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U-14 Football League sustained its excitement in week two, producing 24 goals, surpassing the 21 recorded in the opening round.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the grassroots competition holds at the Nathaniel Idowu pitch, Ajegunle, in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Council, Lagos.
Organisers say the league is fast emerging as a platform for youthful attacking flair and competitive football among emerging talents.
The tournament is organised by the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, with backing from the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation, to promote grassroots football development.
Pure Talents FA stayed impressive on Sunday, thrashing Young 11 FA 6–2, with Fidelis Prosper, Chukwu Gozie, Ajaloleru Yesiru and Adekunle Daniel on target.
