Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta on Wednesday, congratulated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, as he clocks 56.

The governor in the same vein, celebrated renowned legal luminary, and former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Bozimo, as he also turns 87.

Oborevwori’s felicitations are contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon in Asaba on Wednesday.

The governor described Keyamo as a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), astute public servant, and committed patriot, whose career in law and public service has continued to positively impact national development.

He lauded the Aviation Minister for his notable contributions to the growth and repositioning of Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace sector, particularly in strengthening safety standards, and promoting investor confidence.

He said that Keyamo’s consistency, courage, and professionalism in public office, has brought renewed focus and visibility to the aviation sector at a critical time in the nation’s development.

He praised the minister for his unwavering commitment to the growth, unity, and consolidation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta, and across the country.

According to the Governor, Keyamo’s political maturity and dedication to democratic ideals, have continued to earn him respect within and outside the party.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta state, I congratulate my dear brother and friend, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, on the occasion of his 56th anniversary,” he said

Also, the governor described Bozimo as a towering figure in Delta and national politics, whose life has been defined by courage, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service.

Oborevwori said that Bozimo’s contributions span decades of distinguished service to Nigeria, particularly his impactful tenure as Minister of Police Affairs.

According to him, Bozimo brought wisdom, stability, and institutional insight to a critical sector of national security, at a defining period in the country’s democratic journey.

He commended the elder statesman for his continued relevance in the state affairs, adding that he is a respected member of the State’s Advisory and Peace Building Council.

According to the governor, Bozimo’s leadership among the Ijaw people of Delta, has remained exemplary.

 “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate our father and leader of immeasurable value, Alaowei Broderick Bozimo, on the occasion of his 87th birth anniversary.

“I join his family, friends, associates, and countless admirers in thanking Almighty God for His enduring grace, protection, and strength upon his life over the past 87 years,” he said

Oborevwori prayed God to continue to grant the celebrants good health, sound mind, and divine illumination, to remain steadfast in their lifelong commitment to service, peace-building, and the advancement of humanity.
