Actress Yvonne Jegede seems to have a medicine that she believes can eliminate marital issues.
This, according to her, is co-habiting.
She believes this works better that marriage which soon develops fever as soon as the man and woman dsecend the altar.
In an interview with ‘Naija FM’, Jegede, a who has had a marriage crashed, philosophised: “I am open to remarriage if it comes, but I am not looking for it. I have learnt not to say ‘never’.
“I think marriage is overrated. A lot of people who dated for 10 to 15 years, got married, and then broke up within 2 to 3 years. Sometimes, you wonder why such couples didn’t just remain unmarried. Because when they add the marriage tag, a lot of intolerance gets in the way,” she said.
She suggested that cohabiting might be a better option, allowing couples to avoid the added pressures that come with marriage.
