The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna Command, has said that its operatives have nabbed three suspects for vandalism of critical infrastructure, specifically electrical generator parts from Kauru General Hospital.

The Commandant NSCDC, Panam Musa, made the disclosure at a press briefing, at the command’s headquarters in Kaduna on Friday.
Musa said “NSCDC Kaduna State Command has made significant strides in combating vandalism.
“Three suspects were arrested for vandalism of critical infrastructure, specifically electrical generator parts from Kauru General Hospital in Kauru Local Government Area of the state.”
He identified the suspects as; Sani Adamu, Abdulrahaman Isiya and Isma’il Musa.

“The NSCDC recovered electrical generator casing and damaged copper wires from the suspects,” he said.
Musa added that the command’s special response team intercepted vandals attempting to steal a telecommunication mast meant for rural telephony programmes at the Kaduna Switching Center.

The commandant reaffirmed the corps’ commitment to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, while emphasising the importance of public cooperation.
“The command urges citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities around public installations to ensure collective safety and progress.
“The suspects will be charged to court after investigation,” Musa assured.
