The Anambra State Police Command is requesting public assistance to locate a missing three-year-old boy. The child was reportedly stolen on September 26 in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, issued a statement regarding the case in Awka on Monday. The police are urging all residents, particularly those in the local area, to provide any relevant information that may lead to the boy’s whereabouts.
“Preliminary information reveals that the victim, Master Chimaobi Nwadike, a three-year-old boy, was stolen by an unidentified woman while in the custody of his mother.
“The Command is calling on anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of the child or the suspect to kindly report to the nearest police station or call the command’s emergency numbers,” he said.
