Stakeholders of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Wamba and Nasarawa Eggon LGAs of Nasarawa State, have called on Mr Idris Danlami, former Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon LG to contest for Akwanga/ Nassarawa Eggon/ Wamba Federal Constituency in 2027.
Mr Ibrahim Moyi and Mr Kassimu Umar, SDP Chairmen of Wamba and Nassarawa Eggon Local Government areas, made the calls at the party’s rally on Friday in Wamba and Nassarawa Eggon LGAs .
The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that the executive members of both LGAs were in attendance at rally.
The duo said that the essence of their gatherings was a Clarion call on Danlami to contest for the House of representatives seat in 2027.
They attributed their call to his developmental strides when he served as the Nasarawa Eggon LAG.
According to them, some of his achievements includes drilling of boreholes across the 14 electoral wards of Nassarawa Eggon.
Others are abattoirs, construction of roads, culverts, ,renovation of the council Secretariat, guest house, fertilizers street lights among other infrastructure.
They assured him of the party’s continued to remain united for the victory of the party come 2027.
Responding, Mr Mohammed Audu, the SDP Zonal Chairman of Nasarawa North appreciated them for the support for Danlam.
” I thank you for the support for Danlami to contest for House of representatives seat come 2027 under our platform, SDP.
” I will deliver your message to Hon Odasco that the entire SDP structures of Wamba and Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Areas are behind Danlami for the House of Representatives seat in 2027,” he said.
The SDP Zonal Chairman called on the stakeholders, party officials and other party faithful to remain united and work tirelessly for the victory of the party in 2027.
Speaking with newsmen , SDP aspirant for Nassarawa Eggon East State Assembly Constituency, Mr Hussaini Adagadzu, pledged quality representation if elected in 2027.
He said that he would initiate people’s oriented projects and empower his constituents in order to improve on their standard of living.
