While congratulating the traditional worshippers on the celebration, Babayemi urged them to ensure their various laudable cultural engagements are sustained and enlivened to be appreciated at the global level.
According to him, this will encourage more foreign tourists to develop the habit of seeing, knowing, and appreciating the cultures of the people across the Yoruba-speaking states.
Babayemi, one of the APC aspirants for the August 8, 2026, governorship election in the state, also urged residents in the state to participate fully in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise.
He said their participation would have an impact on the governorship election as well as the 2027 general elections that would actualise the second term of President Bola Tinubu.
