The Yaba Lions Club, District 404A3, has donated cash and baby supplies to the first baby born in July at FMC Ebute Metta, Lagos, to mark the start of its new service year.
The gifts included diapers, baby clothes, wipes, shawls, sanitary pads, and toiletries.
Club President Abdul Samuel-Ojo said the gesture reflects the club’s tradition of beginning each Lions year, which starts on July 1, with community se
“This donation is part of the club’s gesture to reach out to people in various ways, and we are also using it to celebrate the Lions Service Year,” he said.
The mother of the newborn, Mrs Aisha Bishai, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club for their generosity and efforts toward fostering a more compassionate society.
