The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently apprehended 120 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Lagos, comprising 95 men and 25 women.
According to EFCC Spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the arrests took place across multiple locations in Lagos following credible intelligence and comprehensive surveillance.
Authorities seized several luxury cars, valuable jewelry, smartphones, laptops, and numerous incriminating documents during the coordinated operation.
This effort highlights the EFCC’s continued commitment to tackling cybercrime and protecting citizens from financial scams.
Oyewale said that the suspects would be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
