Big Brother Naija star, Phyna, has foreseen what she calls an eba Shristmas this year.
This is on the account of her reading the extremely tough economic situation in the country.
Prices have continued to soar with the fear that they will further bite in the festive season.
Although she is believed to be one of the reigning entertainment personalities in Nigeria, having won some N100m at the BBNaija show over a year ago, she found it hard not to complain.
On the state of things, she tweeted: “With the look of things e be like say na this year. Christmas we go chop Eba.”
Meanwhile, controversial musician, Ruggedman, has lent his voice to the controversy sparked by superstar Davido’s declaration that Nigerians in the Diaspora should not return to Nigeria because the economy ‘is in shambles’.
Ruggedman said government should rise to the challenge of turning things around instead of dwelling much on what Davido claimed.
Ruggedman argued: “Ok Davido has said what he said, moving forward the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again.
All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation. The hardship is too much.”
On his part, gay activist, Bisi Alimi, is even brutal in his reaction.
He said in a post: “Like Davido, I will equally tell any business minded person or investors, not to come to Nigeria. It is not a business friendly country.”
