The Plateau Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has inaugurated an ultra-modern shopping complex and motor park in Jos metropolis.
Mutfwang, at the inauguration on Wednesday, said the shopping complex and motor park would help increase the internally generated revenue of the state.
He said it would equally bring order within the metropolis.
The governor, therefore, urged the local government officials operating in the park to ensure transparency and smooth operation of daily activities.
Also speaking, the Transition Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, Mr Peter Dung, said the complex and park was aimed at promoting economic activities.
“These projects would definitely have direct bearing on the lives of the populace as it would serve as a means of employment,” he said.
According to the chairman, the state now has a centralised motor park that will ensure the security of travellers.
