The Ministry of Defence, has inaugurated three 30-seater buses for staff as part of it’s welfare incentive to them.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the buses were inaugurated at the Ship House, Abuja, by Dr Ibrahim Kana, Permanent Secretary, in the ministry.

Kana said that the Federal Government was committed to boosting the welfare of staff by providing incentives that would make them happy and committed to work.

He explained that the buses were provided to support the welfare of staff in line with President Bola Tinubu’s eight Point Renewed Hope Agenda and the Federal Civil Service Strategic and Implementation Plan.

He also said that the buses would ease transportation logistics, which would in turn contribute to a positive and motivated workforce.

“As we celebrate this milestone, the ministry reiterates its commitments to supporting the welfare and professional growth of the staff,” the permanent secretary said.

He expressed gratitude for the unwavering dedication of staff of the ministry to the discharge of their duties, but said that to whom much was given, much was expected.
