Star actress, Toyin Abrahams, has good news for her destiny – and fans – as she says her latest movie, ‘Ijakumo’ has been atop Netfliflix in Nigeria for to weeks.
Those who know will appreciate the fact that that is a cool rating and some good money for her.
The actress, who is now practically ruling the Yoruba film scene alongside her friend or foe colleague, Funke Akindele, announced this on Instagram thus:
“Ijakumo, is a film that explores the story of a born-again stripper and already made waves six months ago when it claimed the top spot as the number one indigenous language drama at the West African Box Office.
“Also the movie has held the number one position on Netflix in Nigeria for an impressive two weeks in a row, making it the sole Nigerian film to achieve such a feat in 2023.”
