Popular skit maker, Maraji, has waved her flag of support for Chef Dammy as she receives criticism from some people over her determination to dethrone Hilda Baci.
The Ekiti chef had started her journey to cook for 120 hours, even before Hilda got the GUWR badge and while some have comnended her, she has been criticised by many.
Maraji in a recent video, emphasised the value of competitiveness and personal aspirations in the entertainment sector by asserting that she thought Chef Dammy had done nothing wrong.
Maraji emphasised that people don’t wait for others to succeed before following their own goals in creative industries such as music and comedy. She noted how important influence and inspiration are to the creative process, stressing that no one waits for approval before pursuing their goals.
Maraji expressed dismay that women made up the bulk of the critics and claimed that such expectations were unjustified. She argued that it was an important time for Nigerian women to strive to set records and accomplish great things, and she urged support rather than criticism.
