All Progressives Congress chief and former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, has accused the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of injuring Nigerian economy.
According to him, he is an importer of wines and other goods, adding that he was responsible for high unemployment in Nigeria.
Oshiomole made the assertion during the flag-off of his senatorial campaign in the Auchi area of the State over the weekend.
He said, “Obi owns the biggest shopping mall in Abuja and all the items sold there are imported.
“If he is selling imported wines, clothes and other items, he is contributing to why Nigeria is going down because he is creating jobs abroad and importing unemployment to Nigeria,” Oshiomhole said.

While Obi claims to be a good economic visionary and strategist, one capable of redeeming the fate of Nigeria, his critics have identified such a contradiction in his antecedent.
Although he also left a lot of money and no debt while leaving office as the Anambra State Governor, they also accuse him of being unable to properly invest such and not building infrastructure.
