More light has been shed on what transpired between the faimly of University of Ibadan professor, Adigun Agbaje, and the criminals who kidnapped him on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway a few days ago.
His son, Adewale, who approached the kidnappers ostensible when ransom is being delivered to them, noted that they apologised for their action.
Adewale said, “They apologised and asked me to help them apologise to the (our) family,” Adewale said during Channels Television News at 10 on Wednesday.

He said government had to do more to curb kidnapping, wondering why this had to happen on the expressway.
He added, “Government has to do more, like cutting bushes so that one can see what is happening ahead.”
Another of the victims said no one came to their rescue when they were being attacked.
