Mr Sola Olominu, Chairman of Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti, has commended the outgoing Governor of Ekiti, Dr Kayode Fayemi, for his achievement within the four years of his administration.
Olominu gave the commendation when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ikole-Ekiti on Sunday.
He commended Fayemi for his numerous achievements, especially the establishment of the Cargo Airport, Construction of Ado-Ekiti to Iyin-Ekiti roads, among others.
Olominu said that his administration had paved the way for an incoming governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji who is a dedicated and transparent gentleman.
“I want to celebrate my mentor, leader and political father, Fayemi for his achievement within the four years of his administration as governor of Ekiti.
“The newly inaugurated Cargo Airport, construction of Ado-Ekiti to Iyin-Ekiti roads, among other achievements have proven to the people of the state that he is a true leader.
“I am delighted to have worked with such a hardworking, committed, transparent and compassionate man many of us will miss him.
“I am wishing him success in his future endeavours and ambition,” he said.
The chairman, however, congratulated the incoming governor and wished him a successful tenure.
