Estranged husband of actress cum politician Funke Akindele, Abdul Bello a.k.a JJC Skillz, seems to have recognised how intricate their relationship is.
While declaring that their marriage had ended months back, he had stressed that they still had vital things to discuss.
One was the custody of their lovely children; the other was the ‘disentanglement’ of their business interests.
The fact is that their relationship was bigger than marriage, since it also involved productions that yielded major copyright products.
Now, JJC Skillz has decided to update the public on the current status of their relationship.
According to him, he and Funke are together forever especially when it comes to matters pertaining to their kids.
“WHEN IT COMES TO ME AND MY WIFE, WE ARE TOGETHER FOREVER.
WHEN IT COMES TO OUR CHILDREN AND WHAT WE HAVE CREATED.”
Some months ago, JJC Skillz had confirmed his separation from Funke.
He made this announcement via his Instagram page, weeks after his son, Benito revealed that they are no longer together:
DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY I NEED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT FUNKE AND I HAVE SEPARATED.
WHILE IT LASTED WE SHARED A LOT OF THINGS TOGETHER AND HAVE CREATED 2 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.
THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR US.
I KNOW I HAVE TRIED MY BEST TO FIX THINGS BUT I BELIEVE IT IS BEYOND REPAIR NOW.
3 MONTHS AGO AND AT FUNKES INSISTENCE I MOVED OUT OF THE HOUSE AND APART FROM AMVCA HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET FUNKE TO SIT DOWN IN AN AMICABLE MANNER TO DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF OUR RELATIONSHIP.
I’M MAKING THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SO THAT THE PUBLIC IS CLEAR THAT WE BOTH ARE PURSUING SEPARATE LIVES.
WE STILL HAVE ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED SUCH AS THE CUSTODY AND WELLBEING OF OUR CHILDREN WHICH IS PARAMOUNT AS WELL AS BUSINESS INTERESTS WHICH NEED TO BE DISENTANGLED BUT I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THESE WILL BE RESOLVED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER
