– After scoring 86 goals in just 89 appearances in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland is confident he’ll continue to do what he does best at Manchester City.
– The Norwegian striker joined the Premier League giants for 60 million euros in the summer, and the expectation is that he will quickly settle into his new surroundings.
– While speaking with Geoff Shreeves of Sky Sports, Haaland says he isn’t concerned about how long it may take for him to adapt to the Premier League.

– “We will see about settling in,” Haaland said.
– “People can take time, people can come directly into it. We have to see, but I’m not concerned. That’s life as a footballer – you have to live with it.”

– Haaland has been a force to be reckoned with since announcing himself to world football, and he expects to continue that this season.
– “You are a kind of entertainer,” he said. “You get judged every single week for what you do on the pitch and you have to deliver and do your best.
– “For me as a striker, this is something I cannot stress about because if you think too much, you might end up doing things you don’t want to do.
– “It’s all about trying to enjoy, live in the moment. People talk about what you did a year ago, but it’s the next game that counts.”

– Now under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola, the 22-year-old expects to take his game to the next level under the Spanish tactician.
– “This is something I have to do,” said Haaland. “As a young player, playing for Pep Guardiola, playing for the best club in England, I have to keep developing and get better at a lot of things.
– “That’s what I like a lot about football, you can always develop, you can always get better at the game.
– “Part of the game is to get out of your comfort zone which is something I’ve been doing and something I like because then you develop more as a human being as well.”
– Haaland is expected to start for City against West Ham this Sunday, and he admit’s he’s looking forward to the occasion.
– “I grew up in Norway and it’s Premier League no matter what,” he said. “Everybody watches the Premier League and has a club, so it’s Premier League all the time.”
– “I’m looking forward to feeling the atmosphere and the rivalry of us against them, fans against each other. I’ve been to a lot of games in England and this is something I’ve always liked a lot.”
