– As he prepares to release his upcoming album ‘Love Damini,’ the singer took to social media today, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, to share a tweet about how he was feeling.
– Recall, that it was reported that the singer was involved in a heated scuffle in a nightclub situated in Lagos, Cubana.
– The genesis of the altercation is still a mystery but during the fight, one of Burna Boy’s security personnel was said to have fired some bullets into the crowd, and in the process, two people were hit.
– According to sources, one of the victims who happens to be a returnee was shot in the private part and has been hospitalized since the incident. The Nigerian police were invited to the scene to calm tempers as they commenced an investigation into the matter to bring the culprits to book.
– The news was meted with mixed reactions from Nigerians as many called for the arrest of the singer along with his boys for causing harm to the civilians during the brawl at the nightclub.
– In response to these reactions and the entire incident, the “Twice As Tall” crooner has broken his silence about the whole incident, saying he wouldn’t be shocked if social media users tag him as the leader of the Nigerian terrorist group, Boko Haram.
