Workers have resumed construction at the British-American Flyover after a disruption of work at the site on May 5, following a disagreement between them and the company, Craneburg Nigeria Ltd.
The Commissioner for Works, Plateau State, Pam Bot-Mang, announced this in a statement in Jos on Saturday.
Bot-Mang said the Ministry of Works immediately swung into action to interface between the construction company and the aggrieved workers to enable work to continue.
He said during the intervention, both sides presented their issues and pledged to work together to resolve all grey areas and ensure that work continued on the project.
He added that the ministry was delighted that its intervention yielded positive result and work had since resumed fully on the site the following day with all staff back to work.
The commissioner expressed appreciation to the workers and management of the company for quickly adopting the path of dialogue in order not to jeopardise the targeted delivery deadline.

Bot-Mang lauded citizens of the state for cooperating with government since the commencement of the project in spite of some inconveniences by diversions and movement of service infrastructure from the area.
This, he said, was a gesture that defined the true spirit of ‘Thinking Plateau and Acting Plateau’.
