– Mohamed Salah has made it clear that he would prefer to face Real Madrid in the Champions League final over Manchester City.

– Liverpool booked their place in the Paris showpiece on Tuesday night, and Salah was asked which team he wants to face on May 28.

– “Yeah, I want to play Real Madrid,” Salah told BT Sport.

– “I have to be honest, Manchester City are a really tough team, we played against them a few times this season, but if you asked me personally I would prefer Real Madrid.

– “We lost in the final to them… so I want to play against them and hopefully win it from them as well.”

– The Egyptian is keen to get revenge after his side lost to Real Madrid in Kyiv in the 2017/18 Champions League final.

– Goals from Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale led Los Blancos to a 3-1 victory and Salah hasn’t forgotten that night.

– Salah was forced off in the first half of that final with a dislocated shoulder that he sustained in a challenge with Sergio Ramos.
