– Barcelona president Joan Laporta has announced his position on many topics tonight during his exclusive interview with @rac1oficial.

Here are some of Laporta’s key sentences

– “I’ve received no message from Messi or his agents over a possibility of returning back to Barça. The reality is that we’re not considering this possibility – this deal is not in our plans”.

– “Haaland or Mbappé to Barça? The conditions I’ve been told about these two deals… we’d never accept to spend those figures. I see both of them really far from joining Barça”.

– “We’ve completed two signings for the next season: one is a midfielder, the other one is a centre-back. But I’m not allowed to mention their names, I’m so sorry”.

– Of course, both Franck Kessié and Andreas Christensen deals are fully agreed – and expected to be announced in the coming weeks/months.

– “Raphinha is a player we really like and it’s true that Deco’s his agent. I can confirm that have very good relationships, Deco is helping us”.

– “Lewandowski or Salah? Top players want to join Barça, that’s clear. But I can’t say if we’re in talks for Lewandowski and Salah or not”.

– “I really like Joao Felix. It’s a pleasure to see him playing football. Last summer we were working to complete a swap deal with Atlético between Joao Felix and Griezmann, then it collapsed”.

– “The negotiations for Gavi and Ronald Araújo new contracts are progressing well – they want to continue here at Barça but we’ve salary limits to be respected, that’s important to understand”.

– “I really like Ousmane Dembélé, he’s amazing – we made him a proposal expired on December 20, then if he wants to stay, he has to accept our salary limits. We never know what happens with him”.

– “A swap deal with Wolverhampton between Francisco Trincão and Adama Traoré – it could be a very good option for us. We’re really happy with Adama and his impact, attitude, performances”.
