– Billboard and Afro Nation have announced an official partnership to launch the US Afrobeats Songs chart.
– On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, Billboard announced that the first-ever US Afrobeats Songs chart would be launched in collaboration with music festival giants Afro Nation.
– The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Song chart is set to go live on the billboard website on March 29, 2022, and the chart would rank the top 50 popular afrobeats songs in the United States.

– This is a big leap for Afrobeats as a whole. It is fast becoming a global sound, and the artists are also becoming a force to be reckoned with as major international collaborations have been recorded so far.
– On March 29, the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart will be available on Billboard.com.
– The ranking on the charts would be determined by the download sales from music retailers and official streams on paid and ad-supported audio and video streaming platforms.
