The Olufaki of Ifaki Ekiti, Oba Adegbenro Falore, has urged residents of the town to always engage in physical exercises.
The traditional ruler gave the advice on Thursday when he led some of the residents of the town in jogging across the major streets of Ifaki-Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti state.
Oba Falore, who described jogging as a panacea to human well being, advised his people to always engage in keep fit exercise.
“I want to encourage everyone to always engage in keep fit exercises early, particularly before the commencement of the day’s activities.

“It is very healthy and also contributes to the development of our body and system.
“The exercise will be a continuous programme and I want to implore anyone who wish to join me not to hesitate, it is good for our body,” he said.
The elders, youths and members from various streets in the town came out in large numbers to join the traditional ruler in the exercise.
Some of the participants expressed joy and thanked the traditional ruler for his initiative to keep the people fit and healthy.
