Popular actor, Damola Olatunji, has been granted bail by a magistrate’s court in Ogba, Lagos.
He was dragged to court by the police after he was detained overnight.
He had confronted some policemen whom he believed to be maltreating an okada rider.
In the process of trying to caution them, a policemen allegedly slapped his (actor’s) personal assistant, which he did not find funny.
He challenged them as seen in a viral video but he was arrested and detain on Monday, but eventually taken to court on Tuesday.

They were also very active in the 2020 ENDSARS protests.
News of Damola’s arraignment at Ogba magistrate court on charges of “public incitement and assaulting police officers”, came after he disclosed that he is being held at Area P police division.
He has now been granted bail following his arraignment, and was seen in a video leaving the court room with some of his supporters after the proceeding.
