A filmmaker, Imoh Umoren, has said that it is not a useful effort comparing songs of stars such as Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido.
He berates fans who do so and try to anoint one as the best.
Instead of doing that, Umoren argues, it is better to listen to all of them and enjoy the best.
Umoren made this claim based on how fans of the three musicians normally argue who is better than the other.
In a tweet, he says, “Looks like you’re not allowed to love Wizkid, Davido’s and Burna Boy at the same time. Unfortunately, my playlist has songs from all off them.
Hope feuding fans find peace. As for me, anybody that makes a good song I’m going to listen and enjoy it. Selah.
Umoren is a Nigerian filmmaker who primarily makes indie films. He is most notable as the director of the 2017 film Children of Mud. Umoren is considered the first filmmaker to make a silent black and white film in the Nollywood film industry.[2]
