Disc jockey DJ Switch has reacted to a report by the panel set up by the Lagos State Government on the 2020 #ENDSARS crisis, which said there was a massacre at Lekki Toll Gate.
The Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel submitted the report to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, November 15.
It, among other highlights, noted that soldiers indeed killed proteters at the scene, saying their deed amounted to massacre.
The declaration is generating a lot of reactions based on earlier arguments by the Federal Government that there was no massacre.
Reacting, DJ Switch, who had been at the centre of the controversy as she streamed events from the Toll Gate protests, tweeted on Tuesday: “DJ Switch suffered for over a year on the Lekki massacre. Career and life halted, embarrassed, trolled, hounded out of her home, her country, everything she had going nicely, stopped. All because she was brave enough to stand, document the kïllings and say the truth.”
