Actress Adesua Etomi has recalled how scared she hearing gunshots from Lekki Tollgate during last year’s ENDSARS protests.
It is her own way of observing the anniversary of the historical event.

On October 20, 2020, armed military officers had opened fire to get the huge gathering dissolved.
While many says they aiamed at unarmed EndSARS protesters, the Army insist they shot into the air.
Adesua had memories to share about this painful event as she was six months pregnant then and also her house was close to the Lekki Toll Gate.
She said in an online post:
“I can never forget this day. I was six months pregnant, crying my eyes out, hearing the gunshots from our house.
Sitting in the darkness out of fear. I can’t possibly imagine how terrifying it must have been for those at the toll gate.
“I can never forget. For the lives lost throughout the protests, I will never forget.”
