Afrobeat artiste, Seun Kuti, has hit out to popular Nigerian artistes who make us of his late father’s – Fela – lyrics in their songs.

Before now, Seun had one time or the other fired some shots at the likes of Wizkid.

He, for intance, claimed that Wizkid did not deserve to be a Grammy nominee, asking him to stop parading himself as a winner.

In a new post, Seun while warning fans who compared Wizkid and Burna Boy to his late father, Fela, called out artistes who steal Fela’s lyrics, arguing that they could bever be greater than late superstar.

He wrote in a post (sic):
“I have warned many of u, many times to stop using your ancestors as a tooth pick, especially those that fought for u but your ignorance just won’t let u be so you can’t learn and that’s why you keep living a cursed life of criminality without direction, infatuation without love, present without future, and pleasure without control.

“You are cursed to be indisciplined and you think you are having fun. These kids don’t know!!! #getthesax

“You can’t be greater than that which you take and steal from.”
