Lagos-based rapper, eLDee, has said that in spite of what he believes are failures of the Muhammdu Buhari government, he would still not support a second term for former President Jonathan.
Many people voted for Buhari in 2015 not because they were convinced about his candidacy but they saw Jonathan as a no-more-going area, based on what they saw as his inefficiencies.
Interestingly, among such stakeholders is the Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, who had evaluated Buhari to be the manageable of the two perceived bad options leading the pack.
The great writer has since been expressing his disappointment at many of the government’s policies and programmes.
The rapper (real name Lanre Dabiri), on Wednesday, reflected on the state of the nation and said Buhari’s remain a government of intentions without solutions to the country’s problems.
He, however, said he would still not see Jonathan as an option.
In a series of IG posts, he defended the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, saying they should be allowed to go since they did not want the current union again.
